We also spearhead a program called Pack-a-Sack. Pack-A-Sack is a program which delivers school supplies primarily to Camden children living in homeless shelters. Some of the supplies go to other impoverished Camden children who, while not homeless, are still extremely needy. Because this is a program that benefits children, it is a great way for children to give back. Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, church youth groups, congregational summer programs and more can take part in this program. It’s a great way for kids to know that their efforts are going to their peers in need at Back to School time. This is an annual drive that takes place in August.
